Arabianz Ltd was formed in October 2009
The Company’s purpose is to promote trade in products and services between New Zealand and
the Middle East. The Company’s Directors are skilled professionals who share a cumulative
60+ years’ experience of the life and culture of Kuwait and the Middle East. Most of those
years were spent working in international sales and marketing.
The Directors are aware of opportunities for export of NZ products and services to the Middle
East. They have the knowledge, expertise and resources to connect Middle Eastern buyers, importers
and consumers with NZ producers and suppliers.
The formation of the Company is timely. New Zealand and the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC)
made up of Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain have recently
concluded negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement. The FTA is scheduled to be signed in the
New Year of 2010. It will greatly enhance the opportunities for mutual trade between New Zealand
and the Middle East.
